Hold the date for our 3rd annual San Francisco Black & Brown Forum. There will be conversation, networking, and bridge-building among entrepreneurs and their partners.
As part of Black History Month, 1821 plans on honoring a San Francisco pioneer: William Alexander Leidesdorff. During his brief life, having passed away aged 38, Leidedorff launched the first steamboat to sail on San Francisco Bay, bought a lot on the corner of Clay and Kearny, built the town’s first hotel, and staged the State’s first horse race, on a “meadow” near Mission Dolores.
